That Bach is a funny guy! ; )
Oddly, I only own two of those songs. I was thinking of turning it into a meme and dig through my mp3 collection.
Certainly, Buffett's "My Head Hurts, My Feet Stink, And I Don't Love Jesus" would be on the list somewhere.
Word ver - omenat - that's prophetic.
The university of colorado has an annual song title competition. You don't have to have a song, just a title! ;^)
My favorite has been "I can't get over you, so you'll have to get up and answer the phone yourself".
Hahaha, that #10 makes me want to get in the shower.
You glaringly omitted "Detachable Penis" and "Debbie Gibson Is My Two-Headed Love Child"! Funny list :)
Pfffft! Too funny!
Ummmm, how 'bout these:
"Pope On A Rope (Cigarette Butt)" ~ the Squirrels
"F*cking in Rhythm & Sorrow" ~ The Sugarcubes
"Take Some Petrol Darling" ~ The Sugarcubes
"Get Your Hands Off My Woman (Motherf*cker)" ~ The Darkness
"Bigmouth Strikes Again" ~ The Smiths
"Some Girls Are Bigger Than Others" ~ The Smiths
and of course....
"Blister In The Sun" ~ Violent Femmes
;-)
Oh! And I forgot "Ballerina Out Of Control" by The Ocean Blue. I love the title of that one!
Brilliant song too.
There are a lot of funny/crazy titles out there. "Get Drunk & Be Somebody", "Hmm Hmm Hmm Hmm", "You're The Reason Our Kids Are Ugly", etc.
To Cora: The Ocean Blue also came out with "I've Sung One Too Many Songs For a Crowd That Didn't Want To Hear". My sisters loved that band growing up and played them a lot (probably too much).
Whoever came up with the concept of Reindeer and Grandma deserves a medal or something.
