Remember, everything happens for a reason. Fate has a way of giving us people in our lives to love us, hurt us, support us and leave us. So that eventually we learn to love and respect and trust ourselves first. Sometimes good things fall apart so that better things may come together.

Your post reminded me of an excellent quote from the Steve Martin Movie, LA Story:

That stuck with me at the time.
Hey. Sorry to hear about the melancholy state. You know, you're absolutely right....things do happen for a reason. Also, things normally work out for the best. Although these times can be tough, you learn a lot from it and a lot about yourself. Lately I've realized that if you focus more on the good things that you have in your life right now (family, friends, etc), you'll have a more positive perspective. Just remember you have a lot of people that care about you. Let me know if there's anything I can do or if you need anything.

It sucks when relationships don't work out but, in the end, it was really meant to be. My 1st "serious" one was 11 years ago and he broke my heart. My next one was SO much better, but he loved his religion more than me so we broke up. My current is nearly 6 years strong and it's SOOO much better than the last one.
It takes time but it's only meant to teach you what and who you really need in your life.
Btw, I can overnight a couple of my metal crutches for Cowguy and Scope's hunt. I've heard they hurt like hell. ; )
