I'm glad to hear you and your family are doing well.
I can understand about the party feeling odd. A relative was buried on my 20th b-day. Hearing "Happy Birthday!" during a funeral felt weird.
I hope you enjoy your vacation.
Spending quality time with the family while on vacation will be good.

~E, how did I miss these last few posts of yours? I didn't blog for two weeks (I was sick and then in Chicago) and I thought I had caught up with everyone when I got back, but somehow you must have slipped by me. I apologize. Seriously. I feel like a jerk now.
